SIMON EVERETT, UPHA VOLUNTEER , PASSES AWAY 

Simon Everett, 30,  UPHA member and community volunteer,  passed away suddenly in a tragic accident. Simon will be warmly remembered as  our Easter Bunny at the annual UPHA Easter egg hunt,  and for his active involvement in community events. Characteristically, Simon was working as a camp counselor in Henderson County when he died. The metal mast of a boat he was handling brushed a high-tension line, electrocuting him.

Simon’s family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm Monday, June 16 at Pickard Hall at White Memorial Presbyterian Church. Funeral is scheduled for 5 pm on Tuesday, June 17 at White Memorial. Bryan-Lee Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
